77 year old, John A Rush Jr., of Wheatfield, formerly of Chetek, Wisconsin, passed away on November 8, 2025, at Parkview Haven in Francesville.
On September 1, 1948, John was born to John Rush Sr. and Norma (Erickson) Wolf, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was a veteran of the United States Army. John worked as a bus driver in Minneapolis most of his life. He loved to go fishing in Crane Lake, Minnesota, and worked as a volunteer at the senior center and Meals on Wheels. John enjoyed going to the movies, and collected CDs. He was always found sitting outside his house in Chetek, enjoying the world and talking with friends driving by.
John is survived by his sister: Gloria Farrar, and special friends: Christine and Bill Miller, and John and Becky Borup.
John was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers.
Per John’s wishes cremation will take place.
John will be laid to rest at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date.
