61 year old, Kenneth ‘Kenny’ Collins, of Rensselaer, passed away November 8, 2025.
On October 25, 1964, in Breathitt, Kentucky, Kenny was born to Mort and Cella (Allen) Collins. He worked for Monon Trailer. He enjoyed collecting coins, working on things/tinkering, playing video games, tinkering on cars, tractors, and lawn mowers.
Kenny is survived by his children: Shanna Schwanke, Nicholas Collins, Tashena Collins, Cheyenna (Daniel) Shoaf, Shasta Adams, 6 grandchildren, and siblings: Daisy Collins, Cozetta Brown, Jason (Becky) Brown, and Cella ‘Peach’ (Calvin) Napier.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, brother: John Brown, and sister: Susan Stump.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 14, 2025, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, IN 46392. Funeral Services for Kenny will be held at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor Thomas Lovely officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Boersma Funeral Home.
