My condolences to John's family. I knew John very well in the 90's and beyond. He built many of the projects I designed at Gilroy Foods and other places. I always enjoyed working and talking with John

John was not only My Father- He was my ROCK! Always there for me! He was the best joke teller of all! His ability to remember every joke he had ever told and/or was told to him amazed me. He also was the best at being able to fix just about everything. A trait I grew up thinking that all men had! Lol! Knowing that he is in no more pain and has been reunited with My Mom and His Brothers gives me Peace! Knowing that our Souls will meet again helps me find the strength and courage to wake up in the morning!

John is My Father. He was also My ROCK! I will forever and always love him! He was always here for me no matter what. We didn´t always agree on the paths I chose to take but he was there to help pick me up! I am forever and always grateful for his unconditional love, generosity and patience! He was the best joke teller ever! It amazed me that he could remember any joke that he had ever told or had been told to him. His ability to fix just about anything also amazing and intriguing. I grew up thinking that was a trait all men had! Lol! He is truly missed but believing he is in no more pain and has been reunited with My Mom and his Brothers gives me peace! My strength and courage I´m finding in knowing that our Souls will meet again!

It´s not what I learned from my Dad because that would be just about everything! It´s what I didn´t learn that hurts the most! What I didn´t learn is how to live without him? My Fad was not only my Dad; He was MY ROCK! Always there for me. Not always agreeing but always there to catch me when I fell without hesitation. Extremely wise and quite the character! He was an 8th grade drop out but yet had the knowledge and intelligence than your average college graduate! He was the most generous person I have ever known and not only to his family. He believed in helping those less fortunate without expecting anything in return other than knowing however he helped was used to do just that. My Dad also had the gift of being one the best joke and story tellers of all! A man that could was fix just about everything! I grew up believing that was a trait that ALL men had!! Lol! The memories I have of My Dad I hold dearly and truly hope they aren´t ever taken due to the ugly disease of dementia or Alzheimer´s! We also share the love of desserts; especially ice-cream! Fortunately I have learned to be more disciplined than he was or at least I hope? Lol! Time will tell. My believing that he is no longer in any pain and is reunited with My Mom and all of his brothers and his dog; Bugzy who was a big part of his zest for life; after losing My Mom gives me comfort. Believing and knowing that My Dad; My Rock truly Loved Me and that that love will remain always and forever in my heart until our souls meet again is what gives me the strength and courage to keep on living with appreciation and am grateful for every morning that I wake! Hearing My Dad; My ROCK take his last breath via speaker phone was a blessing in disguise as I don´t think I could have handled it and would be in the 51/50 ward otherwise. Seriously, my last gift from my Dad was his blessing to carry on with My Life to stay on the right path! That finding Happiness was and is in my Destiny! So, in all actuality, My Dad did and/or is showing me how to live without him! Wow! What an "aha moment! I will Forever and Always Love You!

I loved you John. You were always funny and kind even donating blood on my behalf when I had surgery at age 13. The world is a sadder place but heaven has been blessed.
