John Saverse Obituary
Born in Vernon, CT on August 21, 1966, John was the son of the late George and Barbara (Dolloff) Saverse and was a lifelong resident of Enfield. He attended the American School for the Deaf and later Gallaudet University. John was deeply connected to and actively involved in the deaf and blind community, where he formed many lasting friendships and was known for his warmth and kindness.
John worked for many years as a clerk with Shipman & Goodman, LLP. A passionate sports fan, he especially loved cheering on the Boston Red Sox, the New England Patriots, and UConn women's basketball, and he enthusiastically shared his love of sports with both family and friends.
In addition to his parents, John was predeceased by his brother, George Saverse.
He is survived by his siblings, Steven Saverse, Jacqueline Saverse, and MaryJo Tellier and her husband, Don; and his nieces, Rachel Saverse, Crystal Tellier, and Savannah Crosby.

John was a special friend and huge advocate for Deaf and DeafBlind for the rights of commuties of CT and MA on our unique visual and sign language and accessibilty of interpreters for translation of vocal English languages into signing visual/tactile for visual impaired.
