John Scheidhauer

John Scheidhauer, 59, of Brighton, passed away on Tuesday, December 17 at his home surrounded by his loving family.
He was a 1983 graduate of Collierville High School and was the owner of Alpine Autoworks. He poured his heart into his team at Alpine.
He met his wife, Pam, in shop class at CHS in 1981. They started dating and eventually married in June of 1983 at the age of 18 and as they say, "the rest is history!". Together, they travelled, rode mountain bikes, camped and enjoyed life to the fullest.
He and Pam had one daughter, April who would marry Daniel Alsbrook. No one was more excited than John when his first and only granddaughter, Raeleigh Jane, came along and made him "Pappy". He loved Rae endlessly and had so much fun with her.
John is survived by his wife, Pam; his daughter, April (Daniel) Alsbrook of Munford; his granddaughter, Raeleigh Alsbrook; his mother, Bonnie Milam Scheidhauer of Eads; his brother, James (Debbie) Scheidhauer of Oakland; his sister, Anna Marie (Michael) Rue of Cunningham, TN; his mother-in-law, two sisters-in-law, and 11 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Scheidhauer; and his grandparents, Amos and Dona Milam, and Walter and Marie Scheidhauer.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, December 20 at the Holly Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the church.
