John Harold Sears, 76, of Booneville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Booneville, Arkansas. He was born August 20, 1948, in Paris, Arkansas to the late Harold pate ND Nelda Francis (Cash) Sears. Harold was a truck driver for almost 50 years and was a volunteer fire fighter for 34 years. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the VFW post # 2282 in Huntington. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, picking up cans on his four wheeler, and spending time with family and friends. Harold spent many countless hours planning the Vietnam veteran's Memorial Day service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Booneville. He was in charge of the memorial service for the veterans for 44 years. He is preceded in death by his son James Harold Sears ; His parents, Harold Pate and Nelda Sears and 1 brother, Francis Pate Sears. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 to 7:00 P.M. at Roberts Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Friday, August 15, 2025 at the First Assembly of God Church in Booneville, with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Roberts Funeral Home. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Claudeana Sears of the home; 2 sons, Chris Sears and wife Carlene of Booneville and John Sears of Booneville; 2 daughters, Amanda Amato and husband Steve of Scott, Arkansas and Dana Self and husband, Michael of Charleston; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. Pallbearers will be Jody Hester, Hayden Goldman, Colton Amato, Tuff Amato, Wyatt Amato and Brian Canada. Honorary Pallbearers will be Emily Sears, Taylor Amato, Julie Sears, the VFW riders and members of the Booneville Volunteer Fire Department. www.robertsfh.com john
