John R. Simko
Age 92, passed peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, of Baldwin. Beloved husband of Shirley (Gray) Simko. Devoted Father of Barbara (Gary) Molinero, Darleen (Frank) LaBarbera, Terri (Jeff) Deiley, MaryJo (Fiance' Dave) Beeler, and Chris (Doug) Jacobs. Pap of Jason (Anne), Brian (Colleen), Dan (Kelsie), Jacki, Shane, Ryan, Tyler, Johni, Jerrod, and Tommy. GPap of Grady, Kalina, Garrett, Meira, Gavin, and Alexander. Son of the late Mary and John Simko. Brother of the late Robert and Johanna Simko. John was a proud Veteran, serving during the Korean War and a US Steel-Homestead Works diesel mechanic for 37 years. Visitations Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the Boron Funeral Home, Inc., 1719 Brownsville Road. Everyone please meet in Blessed Trinity Parish at St. Albert the Great Church on Tuesday for his Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM. His interment will be private at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
