With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Robert Edward Simko, a loving son and brother, devoted husband, dedicated father and grandfather, on April 13, 2025, at the age of 82.
Bob was the pillar of our family and a man full of personality, humor and strength. He brought so much joy to our lives with his outrageous laugh and his love for life. In his final days, he was able to express his love for us all and especially, his wife of 62 years, Gail Simko. Gail was the love of his life and provided him with the best care for many years.
He is also survived by his children, Jennifer Simko Hamilton and Jeffrey Carl Simko, who were by his side until the end of his life; along with his treasured grandchildren, Clifton Jake Morris, Josie Gail Morris, Hannah Stoneman Hamilton, and Lamont D. Lindsey. Life will never be the same but all of his family and friends are better for knowing and loving him.
The family will hold a private ceremony to honor the beauty of his life.
913 North Elm St, Weatherford, TX 76086
