John C. Staller

John C. Staller, 70, of Oklahoma Borough, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 19, 2024.
Born March 26, 1954 in Natrona Heights, he was a son of the late Lindy S. Staller & Doris (Shearer) Staller.
John was a 1972 graduate of Highlands High School, and worked as a craneman for Allegheny Ludlum in Brackenridge for 30 years, retiring in 2003. After retirement, he drove for W.L. Roenigk Bus Company for a few years.
John was a member of the V.F.W. Post #92 in Lower Burrell. He liked cars, and was a member of a local Corvette club.
John enjoyed boating, fishing, working out at the local YMCA, and enjoyed being out in the sun and spending time at his pool. He most loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and his friends. John was a proud father and grandfather.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Robin A. "Robbie" Staller, who passed away on January 31, 2017.
John is survived by his daughter, Brea L. (Josh) Jakub of Allegheny Township; son, Chad (Tracy) Staller of Shadyside; grandchildren, Payton, Andrew, Bryson, Alivia, Rona, Lindy, Nora; sister, Janice (Keith) Megella of Apollo; and nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Curran-Shaffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 100 Owens View Ave., Apollo. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Eckenrode officiating. Private interment in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell, at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in John's memory.
