John graduated from Walla Walla University with a bachelor's degree in biology and Loma Linda University with a Ph.D. in Education. John's life was spent in Education as a principal and Associate Dean for Admissions at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
John is survived by his wife, Joye Thorn of Burlington; son, Bruce of Walla Walla; daughter, Colleen, of San Pedro, CA and three grandchildren.
A Celebration for John will be held at 3:00, on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the North Cascade Seventh-day Adventist Church in Burlington. Share your memories of John and sign the online guest register.
