Jay worked for over 40 years as a businessman. He served his country in the United States Navy. He was an avid golfer and played regularly. He greatly enjoyed watching sports, playing bridge, and he loved to host gatherings surrounded by all his friends and family. Above all, he loved his family very much and will be greatly missed.
Jay was preceded in death by his parents John and Margaret; brothers Andrew, Thomas, and Daniel Titus; and his best friend and golfing buddy, George Purcell.
Jay is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Janet (Riordan) Titus; children Tom (Shelly), Greg (Leanne), and Ben (Aleisha) Titus; grandchildren Jacob, Emma, Katie, Elena, Bella, Anderson, Harrison; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Visitation will be from 10 am until the time of service at 12 pm on Monday, February 14, 2022, at Sunset Funeral Home.

I´m so sorry to hear of Jays passings. I have been thinking of all our friends lately and wanted to reach out to Jay! Last phone number was not working. Googled his name, and saw the notice of his passing. I am so sorry for your loss. I was with Bob and Penny Barnicle today talking about long time friends, and missing contact.
