John Thomas (Tommy) Lyssy, 35, passed away unexpectedly on the morning of October 28, 2022. He leaves behind his wife, Erin, and their two beautiful boys, JJ and Bo.
Visitation will be held at Sneed-Carnley Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, November 1, 2022, from 2 to 4 pm.
Tommy was born on February 2, 1987, in Lampasas, TX to Lucian, Jr. Lyssy and Vikki Daniel. He moved to Belton at a young age and graduated from Belton High School in 2005. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, grilling, cooking and his greatest joy in life was his family. He was a very loving father and husband and had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Tommy also was passionate about music and enjoyed playing his guitar and drums. He was a machinist as well as a third-generation tile setter.
Tommy was preceded in death by his mother, Vikki Daniel; grandparents, Lucian and Lola Lyssy and his beloved dog, Max.
Survivors include his wife Erin Lyssy; his sons, JJ and Bo; his father, Lucian Lyssy, Jr.; sisters, Tess Moon, Diedre Wilhite, Rebecca Lyssy and Haley Dane and step-mother, Michelle.
