John W. Uhl, 83, husband of Kathleen M. (Fitzpatrick) Uhl of Schwenksville, PA passed away on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Born on November 16, 1941 in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late John G. and Bertha M. (Scanlan) Uhl.
He worked in shipping and receiving at Kingsbury in Philadelphia.
A devoted member of St. Eleanor Catholic Church in Collegeville, PA, John served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Mary Catholic Church in Schwenksville for 12 years and at Greenfield Assisted Living for 11 years. He also volunteered his time delivering Meals on Wheels for over 12 years and co-led St. Martha's Prayer Group in Philadelphia, reflecting his deep commitment to his faith and community.
John had a passion for sail boating, enjoyed taking long walks, and was known as the "Mr. Fix-It" among friends and family.
In addition to his loving and devoted wife he is survived by his children:
Donna Thompson;
Katherine Veneziano;
John husband of Shannon Uhl.
9 Grandchildren, Daniel, Ashley, Griffin, Angela, Dawson, Dominic, Justin, Victoria , and Derrick.
Brother-in-law, James E. husband of Cindy Fitzpatrick;
Preceded in death by his beloved Sun Conure, "Clancy".
Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass in St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426 on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at 11:00 am.
Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.
A viewing will be held in church on Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:50 am.
