John Henry Walker Junior was born June 24, 1954, to the late John Henry Walker Senior and Idell Wheeler Walker in Moorhead, Mississippi. He departed this Life on Thursday morning July 17, 2025, with a touch of love from his heavenly Father into eternal life. John attended Ruleville Public Schools and later relocated to New York, where he began his career being employed with the Department of Transportation in Long Island, New York. He provided over 30 years of service before he retired and relocated to his hometown of Ruleville, Mississippi. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Idell Walker; three sisters, Luretha Agee, Robert McClendon, and Ather Ellis. One brother, James Wheeler. John leaves to cherish his sweet, loving memories, two daughters; Tina Conrod of Arletha, California, and ShaKeisha Walker of Brentwood, New York. Three sisters, Callie Parks and Retha Walker of Ruleville, MS and Johnnie Mae Jennings of New Llano, LA; One brother, Willie Holston of Ruleville, MS. He also leaves to cherish his grandchildren; Draquan Garrett, Terrel Burt's, Sylvia Parramatta, Dasheen Walker Sr., Alia Roberson, ZaKiyah Goodman, and Nigel Alfred. Great Grandchildren; Essence Walker, Dasheen Walker Jr., King Alfred, Legend Nunes. Two godsons, DeAaron Brown and Claude Betts and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
