John "Jack" Edward Wallace Jr., age 67, of Wellston, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, October 9th, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family and faithful dogs, Sassy and Hoss. He was born May 6th, 1957, in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late John and Geraldine Wallace.
He was a 1976 graduate of Oak Hill High School and was formerly employed by DT&I Railroad and Goodyear of Jackson.
Jack enjoyed being surrounded by those who loved him. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye football fan and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved fishing and took great pride in mowing and yard work. Jack gave his live to Christ shortly before his death and attended Calvary Connection Church. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Jack is survived by his children: Vanessa (Lonnie) Murray; Joshua (Stacey) Wallace, and Shawn Wallace; special friend with him until the end, Kim Moore; mother-in-law, Brenda Corvin; siblings: Katherine Sue Hughes, Sheila Miller, Robin Powell, and Kenneth Wallace; and many grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Kelly Moore Wallace; stepdaughters, Heather Parker and Brandi Parker; and a sister, Francis Hughes.
Funeral arrangements are pending under the direction of the Lewis & Gillum Funeral Home of Jackson. Online condolences may be sent to .
