John Thomas Whitt Jr.

John Thomas Whitt, Jr, age 80, passed away peacefully at the VA medical hospital in Chillicothe, Ohio Saturday, June 29th 2024. John graduated South High School in 1962 then joined the United States Air Force and later attended OSU. 

One would say John was quite the Salesman, to the extent of being able to sell ice to Eskimos. John worked as a Salesman all his life and even won a trip for two to Hawaii for being a top Salesman. John loved to cruise in his 1974 Stingray convertible Corvette and also boating and fishing on Buckeye Lake. John also enjoyed dirt bike riding with his son and trips to Myrtle Beach and Florida with his family and boy did he love Elvis. John lived his life to the fullest, even after becoming blind 18 years ago. 

He is survived by his life partner of 60 years- Sheri Whitt and their 3 children- John III, Tiffany (Matthew) and Stephanie. John also leaves behind three loving Grandchildren- Catie Glass, Sarah Glass and Emily Yanczura. Survived by siblings Jimmy Whitt, Steve Whitt and Joyce Holdridge and many nieces and nephews.
