Johnie Clark Davis

Johnie Clark Davis, 83, of Rossville, GA, entered the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as her faith became sight on Monday, November 10, 2025. She was born on October 11, 1942, in Chattanooga, TN. She was a native of Lookout Mountain, GA, and graduated from Rossville High School in 1960. Miss Johnie was a retired school bus driver from the Walker County Board of Education after nearly 40 years. She fiercely loved her family, absolutely adored her grandchildren, & enjoyed doing anything that involved spending time with them. She was selfless, faithful, and devoted to her family and to Jesus. Miss Johnie had a true servant's heart, putting the needs of others well before her own. She enjoyed both cooking and baking, and her Thanksgiving dressing will certainly be missed. She loved us well, & for that, we are forever grateful.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert "HoBo" F. and Kathleen "Kick" Ellis Clark; and her brother, Perry Clark.

Those left to cherish her legacy and the blessing of her life are her daughters, Shari (Sherman) Smith and Stephanie Jeno; her grandchildren, Savannah Jeno, Sherman Smith III, and SaraBeth Hope Smith; her sister, Sue (Gary) Templeton; several nieces, nephews, neighbors and countless friends whom she loved like family.

A visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Lane Funeral Home and Crematory South Crest Chapel, 833 Chickamauga Ave., Rossville, Georgia, 30741.

A graveside service will be held at 12 noon on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Lake Hills Memorial Gardens in Trenton, GA, with her dear cousin, Terry Massey, officiating.
