Johnna Lee Bowman Johnson 78, a resident of Richmond, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Johnna was born on November 2, 1947, in Richmond the daughter of John and Julia (Kraft) Bowman. She was married to Kenneth Johnson; he preceded her in death.

She is survived by one son, Timothy (Brandy Luman) Brown of Richmond, one sister, Lynne (Gary) Bales, two granddaughters, Mackenzie Brown and Kathy Riddick, two great grandchildren, Jasper and Elaina, and one nephew, Brandon Bales.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and sister, Beverly Duvall.

Johnna was a 1965 graduate of Lexington High School. Throughout her life, she was a devoted and loving mother who placed her family at the center of everything she did. She enjoyed traveling, crocheting, and taking long drives, finding peace in both creativity and quiet time on the road. Johnna was known for her caring heart and genuine concern for others. She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Henrietta, where her faith was an important part of her life.

A visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. With visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and funeral services in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow services in Wakenda Cemetery north of Hardin.
