Johnnie A. John Barnes, 57, St. Marys, WV passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at home surrounded by family. Born in Stantonsburg, NC, on November 2, 1964, he was the son of Faye Barnes Owens and the late Raymond Owens.
Survivors other than his mother include his wife of 21 years, Toni Queen Barnes; three children, Brandon (Kristina) Barnes, Brittany (Cody) Lee, and Kelsey Barnes; two grandchildren, Preston Barnes, and Bryson Barnes; three sisters, Patricia Zacarias, Vernice (Bill) Trippett, and Renee (Marshall) Lamp; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, grandparents, Fannie Mae and James Taft Barnes, one sister, Donna Norris, one grandson, Colby Barnes.
Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Ingram Funeral Home, St. Marys, WV with Pastor John Strimer officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 3 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the funeral home. An online guest register is available at www.ingramfh.com.
