Oxford- Mrs. Johnnie Ruth Adams Ramage, 88, passed away on June 15, 2021, at the Blake Assisted Living Facility in Oxford, MS. Mrs. Ramage was born in Bruce, MS on January 21, 1933, to Ottis Lee Adams and Cora Irene Crocker Adams. Mrs. Ramage worked as a bookkeeper for Penick Produce and the United States Postal Service before retiring. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Houston for many years.
Funeral Services will be Friday, June 18, 2021, at Houston Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M. with Dr. Daniel Heeringa and Rev. Fletcher Moorman officiating.
Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2021, from 10:00 A.M.- 11:00 A.M. at Houston Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Calhoun County, Mississippi.
Mrs. Ramage is survived by her husband of 68 years, Henry Floyd Ramage of Oxford; her two sons, Kevin (Marisa) Ramage of Oxford, and Rev. Keith (Belinda) Ramage of Raleigh, MS; her brother, Phil (Annette) Adams of Andalusia, AL; her grandchildren, Kayla Ramage, Kirsten Ramage, Avery Ramage, Michael Lavine, Erik Lavine, and Dana Melvin; her great-grandchildren, Channing Melvin, Trace Melvin, Kadence Melvin, Connor Lavine, and Noah Lavine.
Mrs. Ramage is preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Mavis Williford.
