Mrs. Johnnie Sue Rowland Sanders, age 75 of Hartwell, Ga., passed away on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024 following a sudden illness.
She was born on December, 22, 1948 in Anderson, S.C., to the late Thomas Rhyle Rowland and JoBeth Boleman Rowland Bishop. Johnnie Sue was retired from textiles as a supervisor. She was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. She loved to travel, play cards and painting.
Left to cherish her memories are; her husband, HD Sanders, children, Melissa Sanders of Dewy Rose, Ga., and Marty Sanders of Hartwell, Ga., sister, Wanda Jordan of Hartwell and grandchildren Aiden and Ava Sanders. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Tommy Rowland.
Funeral services for Johnnie Sue Sanders will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2024 at Two o'clock from the chapel of Coile and Hall Funeral Directors. Dr. Don Little and Rev. Grant Myerholtz will officiate. Burial service will be held at Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
The family will greet friends 12:30 - 1:45 at the funeral home just prior to the funeral. Family members will be at the home, 5676 Reed Creek Highway in Hartwell. In lieu of flowers, please make donation to Hart County Humane Society, P.O. Box 1062, Hartwell, Ga. 30643
