Johnny Leroy Barker, 89, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Rawlins House in Pendleton. At his side were Diana Barker and their four children, David Barker, John Eric Barker, Shannon Miller and Nancy Cherry.
Johnny was born on June 15, 1936, in Anderson, Indiana to Roy Otto and Ruby Bernice (Faust) Barker. He was a Lapel graduate and retired from Delco Remy Division of General Motors after 25 years of employment.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel and was actively involved with missions.
Johnny had seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Clark, Hilbert and Richard Barker.
There will be a private service with his family at a later date.
At this time, the family asked that no flowers be sent. Instead, please make memorial contributions to the charity of the donor's choice in his memory.
