Sandra Lou Kinnaman, 78, of Anderson, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at her home following a brief illness.
She was born on March 23, 1947, in Anderson, Indiana to Walter and Jane (Bouslog) Laycock. She was a 1965 graduate of Lapel High School. She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Greenbriar Community Church in Anderson where she was an active in Sunday School and all aspects of the church. She spent many hours volunteering at the church. She had worked at the church for a time. She had also worked as an insurance agent. She was also actively involved in the Lapel High School Class of '65.
Sandra was a beloved grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an avid gardener. She loved visiting Charleston, South Carolina and the beaches there.
Sandra is survived by four children, April (husband, Rodney) Lopez of Anderson, Aaron (wife, Chrissy) Kinnaman of Anderson, Adam Kinnaman of Knoxville, Tennessee and Asher (wife, Whitney Smith-Kinnaman) Kinnaman of Fishers; four grandchildren, Zachary (wife, Courtney) Sylvester, Campbell Kinnaman, Savannah Lopez and Cecilia Lopez; two great-grandchildren, Ezra Sylvester and Evander Sylvester; a sister, Judy (husband, Dan) Frazier; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis E. Kinnaman and her parents.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 17, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051 with Pastor Brad Brizendine officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Greenrbiar Community Church, 1602 Woodbine Drive, Anderson, Indiana 46011 or Madison County SPCA, Memorial Contribution, 2219 Crystal Street, Anderson, Indiana 46012.
