Johnny Leroy Brooks

Johnny Leroy Brooks Jr., born 08/24/1994 to John and Toni Brooks, was tragically taken, 12/01/2023 in a motor vehicle accident.
Johnny entered this world and immediately made it his own. Everything Johnny did was done with full force and he did it his own way. Johnny had his fair share of demons. But those who have the privilege of truly knowing Johnny, know his heart was pure and the love, compassion and friendships he built were 100% real.
Throughout life, Johnny always had a humorously attractive personality. One that could make anyone laugh and smile. His crazy antics made everything more enjoyable. Johnny was also a true mechanical genius. His love for tinkering with things and taking them apart has always been strong and has never went away. As he got older, he was always off (usually dragging our dad around) to pick something up that could be fixed.
If you looked up the definition of 'marching to the beat of your own drum', a picture of Johnny would be there. Life hasn't always been the easiest for Johnny, but it was his life and he's going to be terribly and deeply missed by those who love him.
Johnny is proceeded in death and is being welcomed into eternity by his grandma Nancy, grandpa Jean, aunt Renee, uncle Russell, aunt B, cousin Kelly. Johnny is survived and will be painfully missed by his parents: John and Toni, his Nan and Pa: Sylvia and Richard, his siblings: Jessica (Corey), Malinda (Adam), Christina (Daniel), Brittany (TJ), Bradley, Brianna, Julia, his nieces and nephews: Jacob, Bekah, Gabriel, Parker, Caroline, Ryder, Dakota, Zandria, Killiyan, Rayna, Jasper, Silas, Willow, all his extended family and numerous friends.
Family is welcoming all those who wish to join, Thursday 12/07/2023 from 5p-7p at Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home. A personal memorial reading will be done for those who would like to stay from 6:45p-7p.
