Johnny Howe Obituary
Johnny Rudd Howe was born on January 8, 1944 and went to be with his Lord and Savior on September 9, 2023 at the age of 79.
Mr. Howe was born in Jefferson, TX and resided and passed away in Shreveport, LA.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gloria Nichols Howe; children, Angie Baker, Teresa Purcell, David Gullatt and Christina Martin; brother, Billy Howe. Mr. Howe is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and his sidekick and nap partner, “Cookie”.
Johnny and Gloria made a home outside Blanchard where he enjoyed gardening and farm life. Johnny took pride in growing a garden each year and instilled his vegetable garden skills to his younger generations.
He loved the title of husband, daddy and pappaw.
Honoring Mr. Howe as pallbearers will be Derrick Whitt, Rusty Martin, Shane Deshoutel, Jason Nichols, David Gullatt and Farley Howe.
Funeral services celebrating the life Mr. Howe will be Friday, September 15, 2023 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 705 S. Spruce Street, Vivian, LA beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Dale Sauls officiating. Interment will follow at Slaughter Cemetery, Rodessa, LA There will be a time of visitation Friday, September 15th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
