Johnny Ray Lovedahl, 80, of Cullowhee, passed away Thursday, October 30, 2025. He was born on July 17, 1945, to the late Jeff and Verlie Parker Lovedahl.
Johnny enjoyed country music, going out to eat, watching TV, and spending time with his family. He served in the US Army and was dedicated to Tuckasegee Baptist Church.
Johnny Ray is survived by his sister, Brenda, and special nieces Candace Franks and Connie Franks. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Johnny Ray was preceded in death by sisters, Ramona Queen and Linda Lovedahl, and brother, Melvin Lovedahl.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 3, at 2 pm at Lower Coward Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Farmer will be officiating.
