Johnny Lewis Shackleford

Reverend Johnny L. Shackleford, 71, of Ayden, died November 18, 2023.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2:30 PM in the Greenville Church of God with burial following in Pinewood Memorial Park. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM at the church.
Mr. Shackleford was a native of Pitt County and had lived in Greenville most of his life. He was the owner and operator of Shackleford Electric. He became an ordained minister in 2005. Over the years he was a pastor at Fair Haven Church of God, Pink Hill Church of God and Elm City Church of God.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Paula Cagle Shackleford, daughter, Crystal Patterson and granddaughter, Sophia.
Surviving Mr. Shackleford include: his wife, Mary A. Shackleford; daughters, Christi Dulaney and husband, Jim, Nichole Dilda and husband, Joshua; children he was fondly attached to, Phillip (Bubba) Hall and wife, Jessica; stepson, Jamie Williams; grandchildren, David, Darlene, Hannah and fiancé, David, Patricia Lynn, Colby, Leah, Aubree, Jacob and Justin; great grandchildren, Loki and Raiden; sister, Nora Davenport; and brothers, Charles Shackleford and Al Shackleford.
