Johnny Keith Stone

Johnny Keith Stone, 63, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
Mr. Stone was born November 30, 1959 in LaGrange, GA and had lived in Dawson County since 2000 having moved from Hall County. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he retired from Farm Bureau Insurance Company following over 30 years of service, after which he owned Stone Insurance Partners in Dawsonville. He formerly owned and operated a poultry farm, and in college he worked on a dairy farm. An avid Georgia Bulldog fan, he was a perfect Pop Pop.
Surviving are his wife of 33 years, Karen Stone, Dawsonville; children, Emily and Preston Hopper, Gainesville, Brian and Shannon Meggs, Gainesville, Matt Stone and Isha Matta, New Orleans, LA; grandchildren, Annie Hopper, Kylie Hopper, Lane Hopper, Sawyer Meggs, Jay and Carly Crawford; great granddaughter, Channing Crawford; parents, Johnny and Bonnie Stone, Cumming; sister, Kelli Stone, Brunswick, NY; brother and sister-in-law, Kris and Teresa Stone, Cumming; nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, August 26, 2023 at 4 o'clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Scott Vaughan and Rev. Mike Owens will officiate.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 3 o'clock until the service hour.
