On Thanksgiving we said goodbye to our mother, wife, grandmother and friend, Jolene Marriott Fontenot, the daughter of Joseph and Helen Marriott.
Jolene was born and raised in Ogden, Utah, and later moved to Sandy, Utah to spend the rest of her life.
She was always willing to help, and loved her church and family. She was beautiful and vibrant, full of love and devotion.
She loved sports, walking her dogs, walking and talking with friends, and singing with the Sweet Adelines.
She cherished spending time with her six children, all of her grandchildren, and most of all, she deeply loved her husband Eldon.
It feels so meaningful that she left the world on Thanksgiving, a day of gratitude and family.
We have no doubt that she is singing with the angels choir. Perhaps even a quartet. They have probably been waiting for a baritone.
Until we meet again.
