Jon Patrick Abbey

Jon was born April 21, 1970 in Sydney, Montana, to Kathleen (Kathie) and Gale Abbey, and welcomed home by his sisters, Regina (Gina) and Shannon. When Jon was two years old, the family moved to Glendive, Montana where Jon spent his primary years. Later, Jon, Kathie, and Shannon moved to Billings where Jon attended Billings West High School. It was here that Jon met the love of his life, Tamsen Ash. Over the next several years, Jon went on to achieve several vocational licenses and degrees in trucking, electronics, and HVAC. During this time, Jon and Tamsen were married and started their family in Billings, where their daughters Kendell and Tyler, were born. In 2005, they moved to Spokane, Washington and welcomed Brice to the family in 2006.
Jon prided himself on being able to help people fix or build anything. Jon was the first one to call if a car, appliance, or any other household repair was needed. We believe his motto was "I can fix it, break it, or replace it. Jon loved socializing with family and friends. He loved lake time in the summer, watching his kids and grandkids grow, and he reveled in the joys of life. Most of all, Jon was immensely proud of his family. He was so proud of his wife, Tamsens medical career and loved following his kids excel in sports, academics, and later in their chosen careers.
Jon is preceded in death by his parents, Kathie (June, 2001) and Gale Abbey (December, 2018), his grandparents, and many aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Tamsen (Ash) Abbey, his three children, Kendell(Danny Marshall, Lincoln, Baylor, and Sloan), Tyler(Josh Peck, Carter and Nash), and Brice Abbey. He is also survived by his sisters and their families, Gina Ardiana (Doug Ardiana, Abbey and Dylan) Shannon Abbey (Alexandre and Nicolas Boyd).
