Dan " I'd rather owe you than cheat you out of it" Abbey, taught me to play 9 ball and happily took my last two twenty dollar bills.. he was less happy when Reggie Jackson and the Yankees beat his LA Dodgers in the '78 World Series and he 'owed' me $200.. I think he paid up but I can't honestly remember.. he was a happy man and I'm happy I knew him.. JM

Sending prayers to Barbara and all of Dan's family. Dan was one of a kind...probably a good thing. We had some fun times back in my Interstate Tire days. Thanks for the great memories and for always looking out for me. Tommy (deceased 12/19/24) and I enjoyed reminiscing about you over the years. Tommy will be glad to see you. R.I.P. Dan.
Remembering you with love and respect,

Even though we shared a little time together you made a lasting memorable impression. You were kind, enjoyable and giving. I have heard how funny you were and fun to be around. May God comfort your family and friends. I will miss you
