Jon Leonard Coulter, age 80 of Madison, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025 at TriPoint Medical Center. He was born on November 5, 1944 in Cleveland, the son of Howard and Caroline (Foster) Coulter. He married Loretta Young on July 2nd, 1966 in Richmond Heights. They were married just short of 59 years.
Jon worked as a machinist and model maker at Picker X-Ray, and then in quality assurance at Perfection. After he retired in 2007, Jon took up many hobbies. He loved showing his 1979 Dodge Magnum XE at classic car shows. He often enjoyed going for long drives with his wife, and indulging on ice cream cones while sitting in the car at the lake, watching the world go by. Equally, he adored watching his great-grandchildren play. Both his grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his "littles", and he loved them dearly. Additionally, faith was very important to Jon; he was a lifelong member of the Church of the Nazarene, and most recently attended the Tri-County Bible Church.
He is survived by his wife, Loretta; daughters, Pamela E. Coulter, Darlene R. Coulter; siblings, Fred (Jean) Coulter, Jim (Nancy) Coulter, Carolyn (Cecil) Hinkle, and Bryon (Judy) Coulter; grandchildren, Jason (Alyssa) Folk, Kari (Elijah) Fowler, Cassy (Blaine) Courtney, Austin Williams, Amber (Raymond) Parker, Seth (Savannah) Williams; and great-grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Kinsley, Zeke, Carson, Carter, and Mila.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Marlin Coulter.
A funeral service will be held on July 19th, 2025, at 11AM at New Life Assembly of God Church, 1961 LaFevre Rd., Geneva, OH 44041. Online obituary and guestbook at www.behmfuneral.com

Jon was a nice and patient man. I enjoyed working with him at church in the music department. He will definitely be missed by many. God bless his family. Prayers to you all.
