It is with great sadness that the family of Jon Keene DuValle announces his passing on Monday, November 27th, 2023, at UAB Hospital at the age of 59 years.
Jon was born in Meridian on December 12, 1963 to Herman and Virginia DuValle.
Jon was an avid gardener. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and hunting. He was skillful at his jobs at the local sign companies as a painter, welder, and sign installer. Jon was creative and truly a jack of all trades. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
He is survived by his son, Dalton DuValle (Merrick) and daughter, Lexie Morgan (Brandon); three grandchildren, Ryker & Henleigh DuValle, and Ridge Haven Morgan; three sisters, Beverly Williams (Greg), Gina Spain (Dee) and Melanie DuValle; and many nieces and nephews that loved him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Herman Hiram DuValle, his mother, Virginia Keene DuValle, his sister Debbie DuValle and nephew Eric Smith.
A Memorial Gathering is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on November 30th at the Webb & Stephens Funeral Homes Downtown. The family will receive guests from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
