Jack was born in Walnut Grove MN to John & Delores Raveling in 1940. After graduating from Walnut Grove HS in 1958 he entered into the Air Force and served in Germany from 1960-1964. After being discharged from the Air Force he moved to Farmington MN to work for Centel Telephone and met Elizabeth "Betty" Stegmaier. They were married in May 1965 and started their family. He left the telephone company to work with his brother-in- law doing residential painting. Upon retiring, they moved to Payson AZ where they lived for 25 years, recently returning to MN to be closer to family.
He enjoyed being outdoors, working with tools and helping his neighbors and friends. He could recently be found sitting outside watching the airplanes fly over and discussing their destinations.
Survived by wife Elizabeth "Betty" (Stegmaier), daughter Leah (Heath) Stensrud, son Steven (Robyn) Raveling, grandchildren Abbey and Brooke Stensrud; Maddyson and Keller Raveling.
Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday, October 24th, 2025 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Farmington, MN. Visitation 5-8pm Thursday, October 23 at White Funeral Home in Farmington. Interment, St. Michael Catholic Cemetery.
