Sandra "Sandy" (Manthey) Wert Sandra "Sandy" (Manthey) Wert, age 80, of Eagan, MN passed away on September 8, 2025, at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville surrounded by family. She was born on November 9, 1944, in Minneapolis to the late Robert and Phyllis Manthey.

After graduating from Edison High School, Sandy moved to Las Vegas, where she worked as a bookkeeper and graduated with honors from Clark County Community College. She later returned to Minnesota, where she ran a licensed daycare and worked as a home health aide.

A woman of deep faith, Sandy was a longtime member of Cedar Valley Church in Bloomington, MN, where she taught Sunday school and volunteered regularly.

She loved exploring museums, playing board games, and seeing Broadway musicals. A talented quilter, Sandy created dozens of beautiful quilts that her family will forever cherish. She will be remembered for her kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love of God and family.

Sandy is survived by her daughters, Nicole Wert and Rachael Wert; her grandchildren, Mariah Hunholz (Dustin) and Avery Filipek; and two great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Teagen Hunholz.

Like the quilts she so carefully stitched, Sandy's life was pieced together with faith, love, and care for others-a beautiful legacy that her family and friends will treasure always.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Corinthian Cemetery in Farmington, MN. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Trinity Care Center in Farmington, MN, where Sandy was lovingly cared for during the last two years of her life.
