Jon James Sansabrino

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Jon 'Jonny' Sansabrino, 35, of Rocky Hill, who passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 21, 2026. Jon was born on August 1, 1990 in Hartford. He was the loving son of James and Joanne (Scavetta) Sansabrino. Jonny is survived by his fiancée, Schantal Thielke, and their two children Chloe and Leo, who were his whole world and the light of his life.
Jonny will be fondly remembered for his big smile, his kind heart and unforgettable sense of humor that brought joy to family and friends. Jonny is also survived by his Brothers James, Michael and Nicholas Sansabrino; his Uncles Rick and Michael Sansabrino; his Aunts Lori (Christian) Sansabrino, Linda (Dave) Aziz, Roxanne Sherwood, Gina (Ilio) Cusano, Maria (Darren) Cecchini and Tina (Carlos) Martinez; his nephews Dominic, and Chase; nieces Adriana and Laila, as well as many beloved cousins and extended family members. Jon was predeceased by his Dad James Sansabrino, his Grandparents Rocco and Janet Scavetta and James and Loretta Sansabrino, as well as his Aunt Donna Scavetta. Jon was a devoted fiancé, son, brother, friend and most of all a loving father to his children. The family will receive relatives and friends from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road, Wethersfield.
