Jonathan Robert Bicker, 47, of Winnsboro, Louisiana, passed away on May 15, 2025. A beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, Jonathan leaves behind a legacy of gratitude, thoughtfulness, and unwavering love for his family. Born on September 24, 1977, in Monroe, Louisiana, Jonathan was the cherished son of Nancy Anne Zdan Bicker of Winnsboro and the late Robert Joseph Bicker. He was raised in a loving home and was a proud Eagle Scout. He graduated from Ouachita High School and went on to attend Northeast Louisiana University. Jonathan was extremely talented with all things technology, however, his contributions at work went far beyond his technological talents. Jonathan's advanced expertise and experience took him all over the world through his former employers JPMorgan Chase, CenturyTel, Standard Chartered Bank, and Iron Mountain Incorporated. He was employed with Citizens Bank in Providence, Rhode Island, as the Contact Center Business Solutions Director, Senior Vice President. He was known for his intelligence, diligence, and passion for his work. Jonathan was recently recognized for his outstanding work and given a prestigious innovation award. While countless people-both professionally and personally-relied on him for guidance, he never hesitated to share his knowledge or lend a hand, regardless of the personal sacrifice. Jonathan was deeply devoted to his wife of 20 years, Nancy Myers Bicker, with whom he shared a life full of love, laughter, and adventure. He adored and cared for her wholeheartedly, and their bond was evident to all who knew them. Jonathan's love for Nancy, his mother, and his family was unlimited. Jonathan also had a unique and beautiful way of making everyone feel valued, especially his nieces and nephews, whom he treated as his own. A devoted fan of the Houston Astros and everything LSU Tigers, Jonathan loved sports, but his passions extended far beyond the field. Jonathan enjoyed cooking and entertaining for friends and family. No one wanted to miss a meal when Jonathan was cooking. He loved bringing people together over good food and heartfelt conversation. Jonathan was also deeply interested in politics, history, documentaries, technology, and mathematics. Anyone who knew Jonathan knew he had an endless and special love for animals-especially his beloved dogs, Bruno, Ginger, and Ruby. Jonathan was known for his warmth and generosity. His thoughtful nature and steady presence brought comfort and happiness to everyone around him. He was baptized and confirmed at First Methodist Church in Monroe, Louisiana, and later attended First Methodist Church in Winnsboro. Jonathan took great pride in caring for his family and friends, always putting the needs of others before his own. He had a servant's heart and a deep love for those in his life. To Jonathan, friends were family, and if you were his friend, you knew a love that was genuine, unwavering, and rare.
He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Myers Bicker of Winnsboro, Louisiana; his mother, Nancy Anne Zdan Bicker of Winnsboro, Louisiana; his brother, Michael Ross Bicker of Monroe, Louisiana; his uncles, Mike Zdan of The Villages, Florida, and Phillip Grow of Holland, Michigan; his father and mother-in-law, Walter and Jackie Myers of Sicily Island, Louisiana; his sister-in- law, Tish Taylor and her husband Adam of Winnsboro; his brother-in-law, Matt Myers and his wife Leanne of Winnsboro; and cherished nieces and nephews Jacob Myers, Will Budemer, Anna Myers, and Dani Myers. He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly. Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bicker; maternal grandparents, Michael Zdan, Sr. and Catherine Zdan Grow; and paternal grandparents, Ross E. and Nell Bicker. Pallbearers are Matt Myers, Jacob Myers, Adam Taylor, Will Budemer, Chad Grubbs, Brooks McCall, Carlo Sciara III, Carlo Sciara IV, Nicholas Sciara, Will Edwards, Rodney Newsom, and Thomas Nelson. Jon was absolutely the person who treated friends like family and would drop anything to help anyone. Super smart guy too who knew a lot about everything. Any plane/jet flying over us could be easily identified by Jon. When he and Nancy lived in San Antonio, I'm pretty sure I was at their house every single weekend. Beautiful people. I'm sorry I could not make the trip to Louisiana to pay my respects in person, but I'm making a donation to SOS Pets of Ouachita in his honor. Fly free friend.
