JONATHAN A. BURKY
Jon passed away peacefully, at home, Saturday, February 18, 2023, after a long period of declining health. He was born April 29, 1973 in Akron, Ohio.
Jon was a 1991 graduate of Springfield High School and Stark State’s Automotive Technical Program. He was certified as an ASE (automotive service excellence) Master Technician. Jon worked many years as a professional mechanic and for a while, ran his own shop.
Jon is survived by his parents, Alan and Sara Burky; sister, Leanne (Brian) Scott; brother, Ryan (Becky) Burky; nieces and nephews, Briana, Meredith, and Bailey Scott and Luke, Lily, Ritt, and Capri Burky.
The family will receive guests, Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Hecker-Patron Funeral Home, 13151 Cleveland Avenue, NW, Uniontown, where a Memorial Service for Jon will follow immediately at 4:00 pm. Reverend Dale Gharky will officiate.
