Jonathan William Gunter, 41, of Gaston, South Carolina, passed away on October 6, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hands-on skill that touched everyone who knew him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cathey Gunter. He is survived by his beautiful daughters Bailey Gunter and Aubrey Gunter, father, Darel Gunter and his wife, Dora Gunter; his sister, Crystal Gunter; his brothers, Patrick Gunter and Matthew Miles; and his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. A proud Airport High School graduate, he built a career in construction and small engine repair. Where his love for working on anything mechanical - cars, bikes, engines — if it had moving parts, he could fix it. In that way, he taught us something deeper: that patience, skill, and care can bring life back into things that seem worn down. He will be remembered for his kindness, humor, and adventurous spirit. Jonathan lived life on his own terms, embracing each day with his heart on his sleeve. His presence will be deeply missed but forever cherished by his family and friends.
A celebration of Jonathan's life will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Moseley Funeral Home.
Family and friends are invited to attend and share memories, stories, and reflections as we honor a life lived fully and freely.
