Jonathan A. Pepper, 28, of Harrisburg, PA, formerly of Manheim, passed away at home on Tuesday, June 24, 2025. Born in Lancaster, he was the youngest son of Roger R. Pepper and the late Jeanne Heisey Pepper.

Jonathan was a believer in Jesus Christ and was active with the youth ministries program at Manheim Brethren in Christ Church in his teen years. He possessed a hunger for knowledge and thoroughly invested himself in learning all he could in certain subjects and topics. He was also a very analytical and deep thinker who was driven to achieve all goals he set for himself. Jonathan cared about others and enjoyed making connections.

Jonathan was a graduate of Manheim Central High School and had been employed by Esbenshade Farms in maintenance.

In addition to his father, his step-mother, Janet L. Weaver Pepper, three siblings, Joseph Pepper of Interlaken, NY, Laura Pepper of York, PA and her children Giselle and Graham, as well as Sarah Pepper of Ephrata, PA and her son Amari. Jonathan often talked with his aunt, Susan Pepper-Aisenberg of Orange, MA throughout recent years.

The service will be private, and Internment will be at Chiques Cemetery. If desired, contributions may be made to Manheim Brethren in Christ Church, 54 North Penryn Road, Manheim, PA 17545 to be used for youth ministries.
