Jonathan Reed Riddle,61, husband of Landis Lowie Riddle, of Honea Path died Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at Callie and John Rainey Hospice House.
Born in Greenville County, he was the son of Golden Devall Riddle and the late William David Riddle. He was a member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. He was currently employed with Michelin. He obtained an associate's degree from Fruitland Baptist Bible College in Hendersonville NC and a Bachelors degree from Southern Baptist College in Jacksonville FL and a former youth minister at Shady Grove, Neals Creek and Flat Rock Baptist Church.
Surviving him is wife of 37 years, Landis Riddle. Daughter, Jessica (Trevor) Clinkscales. 3 grandsons; Patrick, Jackson, and Everett Clinkscales. Mother, Golden Riddle; 3 brothers, Donald (Robin) Riddle, George (Merle) Riddle, and Joseph (Donna) Riddle; Also, by a sister-in-law; Dr. Melanie Riddle, and many loving nieces and nephews. Father and mother in-law, Milford (Peggy) Lowie; sister-in-law, Teresa Lowie; brother-in-law, James (Tracy) Lowie; nephews, Gus, Sam, Jud, and Max.
He was preceded in death by father, Rev. David Riddle and brother, Dr. Thomas Riddle.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Krieger and Rev. Alex Henderson officiating. A burial will follow service at Mt. Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Wednesday February 12 at Cox Funeral Home.
Flowers are accepted or memorials can be made to Mt. Bethel Baptist Church 2603 Due West Hwy, Belton SC 29627 or Hospice of the Upstate 1835 Rogers Rd Anderson SC 29621.
The family will be at the home of the daughter Jessica Clinkscales 221 Barkers Creek Rd. Honea Path.
Cox Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
