Jonathan Jamel Tillman was born to Julia Ann Tillman and Charlie Tillman on June 20, 1988, in Thomasville, North Carolina. He was educated in the Davidson County School system and graduated from Thomasville High School in 2008. He graduated from Regina's College of Beauty in 2012, High Point, North Carolina.
Jonathan was gifted and very talented with computers and graphic design. His hobbies were baking cakes, cooking, and singing. He was a warm, kindhearted, and caring person. He was always thinking of others. He didn't meet a stranger. You couldn't help but love "John Boy".
Jonathan was a member of Zion Tabernacle FBH Church, where he was a former member of the Youth Zionnettes and Young Adults. He was a member of the Zion
Tabernacle Praise Team. He served as Sunday School Secretary, Junior Deacon for the Junior Church, and District Youth Leader. Jonathan loved the Youth Congress. He looked forward to spending time with his friends there. He was a member of the Youth Congress Workshop.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his mother, Julia Ann Tillman of Durham, NC, his father Charlie Tillman of Winston-Salem, NC; grandmother, Mother Annie P. Stukes of Thomasville, NC; aunts, Annie Faye Kearns of High Point, NC, Sue Hunt of Charlotte, NC, Shirley Protho of Sumter, SC, Marguerite Conyers of Rock Hill, SC, Gale Tillman and Kay Tillman both of Thomasville NC; uncles John Q. Stukes, Jr. of Thomasville, NC, George Parker (Bernice) Wright, of St. Petersburg, FL; Godmother Ruby Billie of Thomasville, NC; cousins Collis Stukes, Porsha Cox, Jerrod Stukes, Brandon Stukes, Adrianna Stukes, Tanita Tillman, Cameron Lindsay, and a host of other family,
friends, and church family.
