Jonathan “Eddy” Vought, 29, of Rochester, Ny passed away Tuesday December 9th 2025, as the result of an automobile accident.

Jonathan was Born June 29th, 1996 in Williamsport, PA. where he lived until March 2006. He is the beloved son of Rebecca Vought (Garman) and Charles Vought. Jon is a graduate of Greece Athena High School in 2015 where he also attended BOCES for Automotive. He worked in the Automotive field for many years, and most recently as a delivery driver for multiple companies.

Jon is survived by his siblings, Dylan Day and Kayla Vought; Grandparents Clifford Garman and Daria Garman (Kovaleski) of Williamsport, PA; Preceded in death are Grandparents Betty Hackett and Donald Vought. Uncles Curt Garman and Lynne Garman (perry) and Ryan Garman and Jillian Garman (lynch) of Williamsport, PA; Great Aunt Pam Kovaleski, Cousins Brittany Stahlman (Garman) and Jared Stahlman, Tori Garman, Dana Garman, Madelyn, and Maverick Garman and a niece Avery Day, and Vera Day - all of Pennsylvania, and many countless friends.

Jon was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, kayaking, fishing, and hiking, throughout the Adirondack’s, and many other remote locations. His favorite place to be was on Meacham Lake in Duane NY, were he spent countless hours being one with nature. Jon was also an avid skier and snowboarder and loved the winters, a few favorite spots were a recent trip to Vermont and across NY. Jon Loved everything outdoors and natural. Jon also loved traveling and wouldn’t hesitate to jump on a plane or in a car to go somewhere new. Jon also had a love for skateboarding and mountain biking.

In Jon’s Memory, in lieu of flowers or flower donations, the family asks for donations to be made to a charity to support the Conservation of the Adirondack’s. Protect Adks or Adirondack Council  . 

A Service to honor Jon’s life and memory, will be held at Farrell-Ryan Funeral Home on 777 Long Pond Road, Rochester, NY 14612 on December 29th from 4-7pm.
