Michael Peter Rumrill "Mike"

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Michael Peter Rumrill, a loving son, brother, father, and friend, who departed this life on January 22, 2026, surrounded by family. Mike was born on December 8, 1959 and graduated from Greece Athena High School in 1978. He went on to earn a B.S. in environmental science and geology from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and founded his company, Leader Professional Services, Inc., in 1995. In 1998 Mike joined Monroe Golf Club, which became his favorite home away from home. Mike was a passionate and hardworking man, dedicated to providing exceptional consulting services to his clients, fostering meaningful relationships with countless friends, and creating an expansive community over his lifetime. Wherever Mike went he spread boundless joy, and he leaves behind a vast legacy of love and connection. Above all, he was a proud and devoted father to his beloved children, Carolyn, Katy and Nathaniel.

He is predeceased by his mother, Ruth McAllister Rumrill. He is survived by his children; his father, Peter Rumrill; siblings Ann and Timothy; and nephews Andrew, Peter and Matthew.

Family, friends and colleagues are invited to call on Friday, January 30 from 4-7 pm at Miller Funeral and Cremation Services, Inc., 3325 Winton Road South. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 31 at 11 am in the All Seasons Chapel at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Road, Pittsford, to be followed by a private graveside service and interment.
