Jordan Blaschka Obituary

Jordan Blaschka

Jordan Blaschka, 89 passed into heaven at home July 19, 2023 with family at his side.

He was born Mar 19, 1934 in Madison, WI the 9th of 10 children, and the last sibling to die.

He had 5 children, predeceased by 2. Jordan and Carole were married 10/26/1963 and had almost 60 great years together and were soul mates in every way possible.

He grew up in Seattle, and as a teenager loved to hike and camp in the Cascade Mountains.

He loved his grandchildren and great grandchildren unconditionally, as well as all people. One of the last stories he told the children was the nite of the dancing mice- one nite while camping with a friend there was a bright moon and big disturbance. It seems the mice came out to jump and play in the moonlite- moonlite madness I guess- the kids loved that story and all the other adventures to hear.

He was drafted in the army in 1952 and left a Staff Sergeant after Arctic Indoctrination.

Mass will be said 10/27/2023 at St. Pius Church at noon and placed in the Columbarium after Mass.

Refreshments to follow after at the church.
