Jordan Valdis Fernando Nez, age 34, of Ft. Duchesne, passed away at his home on September 7, 2024.
Jordan was born December 24, 1989 in Roosevelt, Utah to Kenneth Randy Nez and Jacqueline Nephi.
Jordan was the best gift to his family when he was born. He brought joy and laughter to his family and was a very caring person. He was a free spirit, who lived his life by his own rules. He enjoyed the outdoors, going to the mountains, hunting, camping and BBQ’s. His favorite sports teams were the Utah Utes football team, the LA Dodgers, and the Raiders. He loved his family and friends and liked to spend time with each of them, especially traveling with them.
Jordan graduated from Uintah High School in 2009. He then worked in the oil and gas industry.
He is survived by his siblings, Fananda Nez, Randon Nez, Carla Kowchee, Shermaine Blackhair (Ryan Redfoot), Ciana (Anthony) Appawoo, his nieces and nephews, Ilan, Kaeloni, Adrianna, Ledrian, Keara, Thales, Treston, Anilora, Rylie, Cedar, Aspen, Antheeona, Caisen, Anthyn, grandsons, Achilles, Ares, aunts and uncles, Alexis Nephi, Susan Jerkins, Alice Nez, Larry Nez, Duane Garfield and numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and many relatives.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ft. Duchesne Cemetery. A wake will be held after 4:00 PM on Wednesday at Fananda’s home.
