Con profunda tristeza, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Jorge David Velásquez, quien partió de este mundo el 13 de junio de 2025 a la edad de 38 en la ciudad de Winston Salem, Carolina del Norte.
Jorge David nació el 6 de febrero de 1987 en Maturín, Venezuela. Fue un hijo ejemplar, padre cariñoso y dedicado y una persona querida por su familia y amigos, conocida por su espíritu aventurero y gran amor por los animales.
Le sobreviven Lourdes Blanco, madre; Jorge Luis Velásquez, padre; Valentina Isabella Velásquez Gómez, hija; Sofia Antonella Velásquez Gómez, hija; Dionis Rodríguez, hermano; Flor Rodríguez, hermana; y Dennis Rodríguez, hermano quienes extrañarán su presencia y cariño.
El servicio conmemorativo se realizará el lunes 23 de junio a las 5:00 PM en Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home localizada en 6685 Shallowford Road, Lewisville, NC 27023.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Jorge David Velasquez, at the age of 38, who passed away on June 13, 2025, in Winston-Salem, NC.
Jorge David was born on February 6, 1987, in Maturin, Venezuela. He was an exemplary son, a dedicated father, and a beloved person by his family and friends, known for his adventurous spirit and immense love for animals.
He is survived by Lourdes Blanco, mother; Jorge Luis Velásquez, father; Valentina Isabella Velásquez Gómez, daughter; Sofia Antonella Velásquez Gómez, daughter; Dionis Rodríguez, brother; Flor Rodríguez, sister; y Dennis Rodríguez, brother, who will miss his presence and love.
The farewell ceremony will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025, at 5:00 PM at Hayworth-Miller Funeral Home, 6685 Shallowford Road, Lewisville, NC 27023.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Lourdes Blanco in memory of Jorge David Velasquez.
