Jose Alberto Brito, aged 45, passed away on June 2nd, 2025. Born on May 5th, 1981, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, he was the beloved son of Rosaura Angustia and Antonio Brito. Jose was raised in Santo Domingo, where he was the youngest of four siblings, sharing his life with his brothers Rafael Brito and Luis Manuel Angustia, as well as his sister Mery Núñez Angustia.
From a young age, Jose developed a profound passion for baseball. At the age of 19, after graduating from high school, he seized an opportunity to travel to the United States to represent his team. He trained in Sarasota, Florida, and later joined the Cincinnati Reds. His talent shone brightly as he became a powerful pitcher, renowned not only for his skills on the field but also for his camaraderie as a teammate.
In 2007, Jose moved to Evansville, Indiana, where he found love and companionship with Amarilis E. Ovalles, whom he married on June 28th, 2011. Jose dedicated his professional life to Azteca Millings, where he worked until his passing, forging strong bonds with co-workers and making lasting friendships.
His memory will live on in the hearts of everyone who loved him. His family, his friends, his wife Amarilis E. Ovalles, and his daughter, Katheryn Lynn Brito.
