Jose B Ecal

Jose B. Ecal, 88, of Paramus since 1974, formerly of the Philippines, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. Before retiring, Jose had his own medical practice in Jersey City. He was a member of A.F.A.B.C. and was an active parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church, Paramus, NJ. Jose loved traveling, gardening, DIY projects and especially fine dining with his family.
Cherished husband of Zenaida (nee, Navarro). Loving father of Mirian Ecal Chin and her spouse Kelly, Christina Ecal Mack and her spouse George, Michael Ecal and his spouse Sheryl, and Joy Ecal Coughlan and her spouse Michael. Treasured grandfather of Ryan, Mikey, Jonathan, Lauren, TJ, Katelyn, and Alyssa.
Family will receive friends on Sunday July 23, 2023 from 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 9:30 am on Monday July 24, 2023, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 10:00 am Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation R.C. Church 234 N. Farview Avenue Paramus. Entombment to follow at Garden of Memories, Township of Washington, NJ.
