Mr. Jose "Joey" Luis Figueroa, age 44, entered eternal rest on Monday, September 15, 2025, at his home in Pineville, surrounded by his loving family.
Visitation for Joey will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Gallagher Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Service will begin at noon with Pastor Greer officiating.
Joey was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and uncle. Born on November 30, 1980, in Newport News, Viriginia to Joseph Figueroa, Sr. and Luz Torres. He graduated from Rapides High School in 1998 and in 2000, married his high school sweetheart, Andrea. Over the next seven years they had 3 children, Ethan, Ian, and Lexi. He was not afraid of hard work and always found a way to provide for his family. Joey started his own flooring business in his 20's, was an agent with Geico for nine years, and opened 4 Crumbl Cookies and 1 Jeremiah's Gelati.
Joey lived his life to the fullest and had many talents and hobbies. He was a singer and artist, who enjoyed travelling, watching Saints and LSU football, car and photography. He will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Luis and Dolores Figueroa; and maternal grandparents, Prudencio and Isabell Torres.
Those left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 24 years, Andrea Terracina Figueroa; children, Ethan Figueroa (Hailey Garza), Ian Figueroa (Alexus Cantu), and Alexis Figueroa; father, Joseph Figueroa; mother, Luz Torres; sisters, Edna Garces (Luigi), Theressa Losey (Lance), and Judi Figueroa; grandchild, Atticus Figueroa; nieces and nephews, Julia, Kaylynn, Alena, Caleb, Ellis, Halle, Elijah, and Lilli; great nieces and nephews, Atlas, Athena, and Genevieve; and a host of friends.
